Information published on this website is provided for the use of its visitors and you are advised that, although care has been taken to ensure technical and factual accuracy, some errors may occur. No guarantee is given of the accuracy or completeness of information on these pages.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website and service.
These terms and conditions apply between you, the user of this website (including any sub-domains, unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions), and Jenny’s Yoga Loft, the owner and operator of this website. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the website. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the website immediately.
- Interpretation and Variation
1.1 In the Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:
“Company” means Jenny’s Yoga Loft
“Member/Studio User” means any person that has purchased or made use of one of our class pass/packages.
“Class packages” means any item that provides the client with access to our products/services or studio facilities.
“Products/services or studio facilities” means any of the yoga studios open to, or products/services offered to, members of the company as published on our website(s).
“Terms and Conditions” are as defined here.
“Website” means www.jennysyogaloft.com or affiliated websites.
1.2 The T & C are incorporated into the online booking system.
1.3 The company reserves the right to vary or revoke any of the T & C from time to time which it may consider necessary or suitable for the regulation of the governance of the studio and the conduct of members. Any such changes will be published on our websites and, until revoked, are binding on members.
1.4 The T & C shall be governed by the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
2. Membership/Studio user
2.1 Subject to condition 2.2, when a person has purchased a class package or used the studio products/facilities/services they shall become a member of the studio or a studio user.
2.2 Acceptance of a person as a member or a studio user is at the discretion of Jenny’s Yoga Loft.
2.3 A person shall cease to be a member when their membership expires or when the membership is terminated under these T & C. For the avoidance of doubt the provisions of condition 6 shall continue to apply after a person ceases to be a member.
2.4 A member may attend classes according to the type of membership (subscription package).
2.5 Unless agreed by Jenny’s Yoga Loft, class passes are for use by the person named on the class pass only and cannot be shared with, or transferred to, another person.
2.6 Details of prices of memberships are available on the website and shall be such prices as determined by Jenny’s Yoga Loft from time to time.
2.7 The studio may run promotional introductory offers from time to time (directly or through an agent). These offers are exclusively for New Members who are not already registered with the Studio and are not for repeat use unless otherwise stated on the promotion.
3. Studio Opening Hours
3.1 Details of class times at the studio may vary from time to time. Class times will be published by the studio on the website.
3.2 The studio reserves the right to make changes to the schedule at its discretion.
4.1 Booking in advance is recommended only if you are sure that you will be able to attend the booked session otherwise, we advise to book classes on the day to avoid booking cancellation charges.
4.2 Booking systems closes 30 mins prior to class commences.
4.3 We do not accept drop-ins. All classes must be pre-booked and paid for in advance.
4a Our Online Booking Facilities and rules are as follows:
a. Classes can be booked online up to a month in advance.
b. All members with online bookings are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before the class starts. No Entry will be allowed any later than the class start time.
5. Cancellation / Refund
5.1 Subject to any statutory right of cancellation, payments for classes, monthly subscription are made non-refundable, non-extendible and non-transferable.
5.2 24 hour notice is required for cancellation of single sessions.
5.3 Please note that private class cancellations require 24-hour notice or full fee will be due.
5.4 Intro Offer members will be charged the going rate for not cancelling and not attending a pre-booked class
5.5 If a membership package is bought and only part used there will be no refund available for the remaining session.
5.6 If for any reason you are unable to attend a booked session please do not message us to cancel log into your account and remove yourself from the class list T & C applies.
5.7 We do not accept telephone or email cancellations. A client may only book or re-schedule sessions for themselves via their personal account through Jenny’s Yoga Loft booking system. To re-schedule a session you must first cancel your booking 24 hrs notice required to obtain a credit to use towards your next session.
5.8 In the event of a ‘no show’ we may cancel or suspend your online booking rights and, in addition, if you have a class pass we will deduct one class
5.9 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of a session where you will automatically receive a credit to use towards your next class or will be added to your membership pass (if you do not receive this credit get in touch with us via e-mail email@example.com or a text message to 07570055122 and we will look into this for you).
5.10 Last minute cancellation no refund and you will forfeit that session.
5.11 Cancellation of classes or sessions due to unforeseen circumstances may occur. Additional dates will be added near the end of the programme if a cancellation is necessary. Jenny’s Yoga Loft reserves the right, at its discretion, to change or modify the course schedule or to convert in person classes or programmes to an online format.
a. Deposits are non-refundable (even with a doctor’s certificate) unless otherwise stated.
b. In the event of the Company cancelling a Workshop/Retreat we will refund members all deposits / payments they have paid and for classes a credit will be issued for your next session.
c. For Retreat /Workshop we cannot however compensate members for Airfare or Travel costs incurred. In the unlikely event that we must cancel a Retreat / Programme due to force majeure (including but not limited to; weather, natural disaster or political upheaval) we cannot guarantee a full refund. For retreats, this is dependent on receiving a refund from the venue/tour operator we work with and most hosts have a no-refund policy making it impossible for Jenny’s Yoga Loft to give you a full refund. To cover these risks, we highly recommend that members purchase Travel Insurance.
d. Retreats if they is a political upheavel and if the government warning is in place against travel and you are unable to get a travel insurance you will be given the opportunity to move the holiday to another date / alternative location or a full refund be offered provided we can get the refund back from the venue/tour operator we work with. We will do our outmost to protect you against such events.
c. All cancellation of holiday must be submitted in writing 90 days prior to travel and takes effects from the date received by us.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Details of all our class packages are available on our Website(s) or shall be such prices as determined by the Company from time to time.
6.2 Full payment for all classes is required prior to participation in the class.
6.3 All class passes / membership are non-refundable, non-extendible and non-transferable. The date for which class memberships are valid depend on the type of purchase made.
6.4 Full payment and/or deposits required upon booking for workshops, retreats and events. These are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. You may transfer your booking to another person provided that you inform us about the change in writing.
7. Monthly Auto pay membership
7.1 The provisions of this condition 7 shall only apply to a Member that subscribe to classes by Monthly Auto pay membership by monthly direct debit, standing order or debit or credit card (“Subscription”).
7.2 Any member, who is purchasing classes by auto pay, shall be entitled to participate in specified number of classes as defined by the membership type at the studio until their auto pay terminates and any such member will forfeit their membership if they fall behind in payment at the date due. Such member shall remain liable for any outstanding payments.
7.3 A member who is purchasing classes by Auto pay is liable for payment of all fees for the membership period.
7.4 Auto pay fees must be paid in accordance with these T & C irrespective of whether or not the member uses the studio’s facilities.
7.5 Auto pay fees may be increased at Jenny’s Yoga Loft’s discretion. Members shall be given notice of any increase in subscription fees.
7.6 Any member that is purchasing classes by Auto pay agrees that they cannot cancel their subscription before the expiry of the minimum period of 1 month from the date of their initial payment (“the Minimum Subscription Period”).
7.7 If a member does not pay their membership for the minimum subscription period (or cancels their subscription during the minimum subscription period) then the member is liable in full for any outstanding subscriptions in respect of the minimum subscription period.
7.8 Members agree and acknowledge that by agreeing to the minimum subscription period, they are being given preferential rates by Jenny’s Yoga Loft and therefore it is fair and reasonable that the member is liable for any payments referred to above.
7.9 It is the sole responsibility of the member to inform Jenny’s Yoga Loft of a desire to cancel a membership within the required notice period (14 days). Jenny’s Yoga Loft cannot be held liable for any payments processed due to the failure of a member to cancel their autopay.
7.10 If the subscription is paid by debit or credit card (or any subscription fees remain outstanding beyond the due date) the member unconditionally and irrevocably authorises Jenny’s Yoga Loft to debit any credit or debit card provided by the member with the monthly subscription fee (or any outstanding fees) without notice to the member.
8. Credit Card Details
- Use of Facilities
9.1 A member is welcome to use the studio’s facilities. The studio may at any time withdraw all or part of its facilities for any period or periods and with notice, where practicable, in connection with any cleaning, repair, alteration or maintenance work or for reasons beyond the control of the studio or the company.
9.2 Children between the ages of 3 to 15 years may only use the studio and only attend certain classes (please check with the studio for classes) if accompanied by an adult and when under their care and supervision, however the studio reserves the right of refusal for any minor to practice according to clause 10.1
9.3 Any child under the age of 15 yrs will be refused access to classes that are not named Kids Yoga or Family yoga classes.
9.4 All children under the age of 15 years are the responsibility of the accompanying adult when in the Studio premises.
10 Health and Fitness
10.1 Each member agrees to familiarise themselves with what classes involve prior to assessing whether they are fit to participate in a class.
10.2 If members have any concerns over their physical condition we strongly advise not to undertake any strenuous physical activities without first seeking advice from a medical professional before participation in our classes.
10.3 The studio reserves the right to refuse access to any user if, in its absolute discretion, it considers that the health of the individual concerned may be endangered by the use of such facilities.
10.4 Members shall not use Jenny’s Yoga Loft studio if they are suffering from infectious or contagious illness, disease or other ailment or suffering from any ailment where there is a risk, however small, that such ailment may be detrimental to the health and safety, comfort or physical condition of the other members. If there is any doubt, members should consult their doctor and must notify Jenny’s Yoga Loft Studio of any circumstances affecting their health, which may be exacerbated through continued use of the Studio.
10.5 All users participating in classes at Jenny’s Yoga Loft are required to complete a Students Questionnaire before taking part in any classes, you will find this form when you come to book your first class. This information will be treated confidentially by Jenny’s Yoga Loft.
10.6 It is the member’s responsibility to make Jenny’s Yoga Loft staff / teachers aware of any changes and suitability to their health status in general.
10.7 Users are required to follow the instructions of the Instructor at all times.
10.8 Retreats / Workshop – We accept no liability for any loss, damage, injury or illness obtained during your retreat/workshop. If you have any concerns regarding your health or having any medical treatments you must contact us prior to paying your deposit. We strongly recommend you obtain Travel / Health Insurance.
- DRESS CODE
11.1 Members are requested to wear comfortable breathable clothes which offer freedom to move to the practice of Yoga / Pilates / Tai Chi. Footwear should be removed on entry to the premises and left on the shoe racks provided together with your personal belongings. If you are uncomfortable practising barefoot you may wear grip socks.
12.2 The use of mobile phones is not permitted in the studio.
12. SAFETY & HYGIENE
12.1 Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
12.2 No pets of members (unless guide dogs) are permitted on the premise.
12.3 Members are required to use a suitable towel to cover borrowed yoga mats or alternatively purchase or bring their own mat to practice.
12.4 In the event of a fire, Members are asked to make their way to the nearest available exit.
- Limitation of Liability
13.1 The company cannot be held responsible for any service or equipment not being available for whatever reason.
13.2 The company reserves the right to make alterations to the types of facilities provided without notice and in its absolute discretion and the company shall not be liable for any loss occasioned by such alterations except in so far as loss in by law incapable of exclusion.
13.3 It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undergoing a routine of exercises provide by any programme that they follow or class that they attend. Members accept the risk of injury from performing exercises and are advised to consult their doctor prior to beginning any programme or class. The company accepts no liability for loss or damage to property or injury of members on the studio premises or outside the studio except in so far as such loss, damage or injury is by law incapable of exclusion.
13a Live Online classes
1. By taking part in any of our online classes, you acknowledge that classes may be physically strenuous, and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there could be a risk of personal injury.
2. When practising from home, you automatically accept full responsibility for your own space and the health and safety precautions with this space and recognise that in absence of a teacher physically present to advice, it is your duty to take full responsibility to ensure that you stay within your physical limits.
3. You acknowledge that Jenny’s Yoga Loft accepts no responsibility for any injury sustained within the scope of your participation in our live online session
13.4 Jenny’s Yoga Loft is not responsible for any injuries you may experience as a result of your use of any material found on the company website.
13.5 Whilst practising online the student is responsible for taking suitable modifications within their practice and if a student chooses to divert from the general instructions of the class, then they are doing so at their own discretion.
13.6 Live online practise the student understands that with their camera on they are visible to the teacher and other attendees who are in the online space. They are not visible to attendees in the physical space.
13.7 Late cancellations and no shows will result in the deduction of the class from student’s account
14 GENERAL GUIDELINES
14.1 Members must at all times observe the Studio guidelines which may be notified to them from time to time and are requested to comply with any reasonable directions which the management of the studio may issue to ensure the smooth operation of the studio for the convenience of all members.
14.2 Members who do not wish to accept a change proposed by the Company to the T & C or to pay an increase in any subscription fees may cancel their subscription by giving written notice to the Studio. The notice must be given before or within 28 days after the change to the Terms and Conditions or increase in subscription fees takes effect and must expire at the end of the relevant calendar month. The member giving notice must continue to pay subscriptions at the current rate immediately prior to any proposed increase until the end of such notice period.
14.3 It is the member’s responsibility to keep their contact details up to date by logging into their account on Jenny’s Yoga Loft website.
14.4 A person who is not a Member has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to rely upon or enforce any terms of the Membership agreement or use any of the facilities provided by the company.
14.5 Jenny’s Yoga Loft may communicate with the Client by electronic mail (“email”). By providing an email address to Jenny’s Yoga Loft the Member consents to receiving email communications from Jenny’s Yoga Loft, including notices pursuant to the T & C. The Client also accepts any risk that email may not be a fully secure and confidential means of communication. Jenny’s Yoga Loft will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of communicating with a member in this manner. Members may opt out of these emails by accessing their account on line and changing their “data options”.
14.6 Photographs taken during class and/or workshops may be used for advertising purposes. If you do not want photographs taken, please advise teacher at the beginning of class / workshop.
At Jenny’s Yoga Loft we take your privacy and the protection of your data seriously.
When you use this website we collect basic types of data including name, address etc., as well as some medical histories pertinent to practising Yoga / Pilates / Tai Chi. This is for the purposes of meeting Insurance Company criteria as well as for your health and safety.
Most of your information will have been provided by you using our software system completing our registration form. We also collect information from the technology you use when using our website, so we can monitor website pages visited.
15a. We may collect the following information:-
a. Name and contact information including email address,
b. Medical histories pertinent to practising Yoga / Pilates or Tai Chi
c. Preferences and interests and other relevant information relating to the service we provide.
Jenny’s Yoga Loft may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. We suggest you check this page from time to time to see if you are happy with any changes.
16 How do we use your Data?
16.1 When booking, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer. In doing so you are agreeing to your email and phone number being used by Jenny’s Yoga Loft to keep you informed of class changes and events we think you will be interested in, based on information you have provided to us about your goals and preferences. You may, of course, decline to submit your email and phone number to Jenny’s Yoga Loft, in which cases may mean that Jenny’s Yoga Loft will not be able to provide certain services to you.
16.2 We may, use your phone number to contact you about urgent class changes or to inform you if a waiting list place has become available. We will only do this if you have booked the class in question, or added yourself to the waiting list.
17.1 We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
17.2 You are in control
17.3 You have always been able to control your account details. Please log into your account to do any changes.
17.4 How long do we hold your records?
17.5 Retention periods for records are determined based on the type of record. Retention periods may be changed from time to time based on business or legal and regulatory requirements
17.6 We manage our records to help us to serve our customers well, for example such as dealing with any queries relating to your account and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Records help us demonstrate we are meeting our responsibilities and to keep as evidence of our business activities.
17.7 Your rights – Data Protection Law means that you have extensive rights regarding the collection, storage and use of your data.
17.8 You have a number of legal rights to control what we do with your information. For example, you can ask us:
a. to unsubscribe you
b. to tell you what information we have about you
c. for a copy of this information
d. to update or change it
e. to unsubscribe from marketing materials
17.9 Commitment to Data Security a
a. Your personal identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from our sites allow you to opt out of further mailings.
b. Jenny’s Yoga Loft will never sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so
18.1 If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
18.2 When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
18.3 Cookies are used on this website to make the site easier to use and are placed on your computer’s hard drive only with your permission. They allow the website to recognise your account and give you a more personalised experience. Cookies in no way give us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.

These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by the laws of England and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
